This kit is useful for distribution of XM signals in large indoor areas where the satellite signals are too weak for reception and it is not feasible to run cable to distribute signals from an outdoor antenna. This booster amplifies, filters to meet FCC requirements and retransmits the received signal from the outdoor antenna via its internal transmit antenna. Useable range varies as a function of the structures and obstacles between the booster and the receiving radios. The receiving radio’s antenna type and its orientation will also affect range. Typically 100 - 300 feet is achievable in most buildings, but is not guaranteed because of the wide variety of variables encountered in building construction and layout that impacts signal attenuation.

This repeater system runs at the 2332-2345 MHz frequency range and does not require special receiving antennas.  Compatible with every XM Radio receiver.  Also compatible with internal radio antennas, such as the MyFi XM2go and Pioneer Inno.
