| PIE Adjustable Line Driver with Subsonic FilterThe PIE LD-1 is a compact line driver/pre-amp that boosts the RCA level out of a headunit or other line level device. Independent left and right channel level adjustments allow the user to increase signal gain from the headunit or other audio source to the amplifiers. The LD-1 will boost the output from 0 to +18db with less than 0.005% distortion, allowing the installer to precisely match the gain levels between components to optimize overall system performance and fidelity. The LD-1 can be used before the amplifier input, or between the headunit and other auxiliary audio sources with low line level outputs, thus preventing one audio source from being significantly louder than another audio source. A built-in, switchable subsonic filter rolls off frequencies below 10HZ to protect sub-woofers from damage due to ultra-low frequencies pushing the speaker cone beyond its mechanical limits.
