The Precision Interface Electronics ALP/AI-AUX adapter allows you to connect
an Alpine Ai-NET changer and an auxiliary source to the changer input on
your Alpine Ai-NET receiver. If no CD changer is present, this adapter can still
be used to connect an auxiliary source to an Alpine "Versatile-Link" radio
(compatible with any 2001-up Alpine Ai-NET model receiver).
The ALP/AI-AUX is a current sensing device that automatically interrupts the
signal from the Alpine changer whenever an incoming audio signal from the
auxiliary source is detected. The adapter also reconnects the Alpine Ai-Net
changer after 10 seconds of silence from the auxiliary source.
